Abstract

There are thousands of manuscripts in various archives and libraries in Iraq. Turkish manuscripts constitute not a small part of these. In this study, a catalog of Turkish poetry divans formerly known as Iraq National Center for Manuscripts and now as The House of Iraqi Manuscripts in Baghdad, is presented. The aim is to put emphasis on the issue that there is a rich treasure of Turkish manuscripts in Iraq and give description for few examples of this important treasure for researchers who would like to do work in this field.
