DENİZLİ-ACIPAYAM-DODURGALAR KASABASINDAN DERLENEN KELİMELERİMİZ

Abstract

Increasing the usage capacity of Turkish mainly in developing phases of each Turkish citizen is an essential responsibility for all of us. In the paper we submitted the words that we collected by noting them with the given sentences as soon as we heard but not familiar to many of us before. To do this is of not only under the responsibility of Turkish academics but also of the scientific writers focusing on different disciplines. Lots of intellectuels are famous for not only his own field but also on the other/others. It should be quite natural to submit such a kind of scientific materials especially on Turkish exploration. The main Turkish source of our paper is mostly depending on the people raised in Dodurgalar town for more than 25 years. In addition lots of words compiled throughout the country included to the paper. Dodurgalar town is situated on the southeastern part of Acıpayam (Karaağaç) plain, the location known as "Yaka Bucağı (means the settlements on the hillsides)" is also situated on the southern slopes of Eşeler (the plural form of the most common women name Ayshe(Eshe)) Mountain which is the border between Denizli and Burdur province. The town is famous in the vicinity of Yaka Bucağı and Denizli province with its Turkish richness, yoghurd of Eşeler Mountain, builders, zeybeks, and especially greasy wrestlers for a long time. The town is only five km far away from "touristic" Antalya-Denizli motorway namely Uluyol (means the widest, and easiest road to the destination).
