Abstract

In modern Turkish language field,the suffix -van(~baŋ) in Turkey Turkish,Azerbaijan Turkish and Turkmen dialect which belong to Oghuz group, has providedlimited derivations for the system of Turkish language's affixes. As a matter of fact,yayvan which is used in today's Turkey Turkish -in both local dialects and in writtenlanguages- and yaypan and yaybaŋ which yayvan's Azerbaijan Turkish and Turkmenforms are prominent derivations from the point of affixes. Deverbal nominal suffix-van (~ -pan~ -baŋ) has been formed with the combination of -pa-/-pe- suffix whichderives intensive verbs and deverbal nominal suffix -ŋ.
