BAŞKURTÇA SÖZ VARLIĞI ÜZERİNE NOTLAR

Abstract

In the article, the lexicon of Bashkir is especially argued together with phoneticcharacteristics such as s > h, ç > s that some of them is entirely peculiar to Bashkir.The words argued in the article the vocabularies of Seyfi Kudaş and Mostay Kerimwho are classical author of Bashkir. These twenty words have been looked up in dialectologicaldictionaries of Tatar, not in standard dictionary of Tatar written languagewhich is subject of classical comparative subject. Thus, it has been pointed out thatthe matter is between standard lexicon and dialectological lexicon of modern Turkiclanguages.
