Abstract
In this study a word in Tariat inscription that belongs to Uighur will be examined.This word is at the fourth and fifth line of west side of the Tariat inscription coded with the runicletters mGLi and mGL. Firstly it will be presented the ideas of the experts on the field howthis word is read andmeant. Secondly these ideas will be criticised in teh ligt of proofs. Lastly itwill be put forward with proofs that reading of this word as "ılagım" and meaning it as "forest,grove" is more suitable.
