Abstract
"ḲutaḏŞu Bilig", is a didactic poem which is written by Balasagunlu Yūsuf in the year 1069. The language of the work is the Karahan Turkish which can be considered as parallel to the ancient Uygur language. This poem, together with the Turkish Dictionary which is written by him titled "Divānu LuŞāti 't-turk", are considered as central to the word assets of that time. The hendiadyoins are among the word asset elements which were seen in almost every language. "ḲutaḏŞu Bilig" presents a very rich material in this respect. Although the hendiadyoins in "ḲutaḏŞu Bilig" were considered earlier, new data are recently determined. Therefore I decided to reexamine the earlier studies and thereby to integrate the hendiadyoins in "ḲutaḏŞu Bilig"
