Abstract
Most of the manuscripts, which are the first-hand sources of our cultural heritage,authors are known while some works, although anonymous, are understood tobe written as compilation of copyright or other sources. An important part of theor different time periods. Some of the manuscripts of oral literature are ones whosewriter are known and some which have anonymous characteristics. It would not bewrong to say that copyrighted manuscripts and manuscripts of oral literature wouldhave different aspects and characteristic features. At this exact point, the questionof whether using the same method in reading and detection of texts in the givenmanuscripts and manuscripts of oral literature would pose a problem or not, arises.In other words, is it appropriate and sufficient to use the edition critical method,which is used for copyrighted works in scientific text reading, for manuscripts of oralliterature as well? In this article, it is discussed how appropriate and sufficient it is/would be to use edition critical method for this issue.
